Investment casting

Investment casting is a manufacturing process in which a liquid material, such as wax or metal, is poured into a mold and allowed to solidify. The mold, which is usually made of a material that can be easily dissolved or melted, is then carefully removed to reveal the finished product. This process is commonly used to create intricate and detailed shapes that would be difficult or impossible to produce using other manufacturing methods. Investment casting is often used in the production of aerospace, automotive, and medical components, as well as jewelry and other decorative items.
